Barbara Hendel’s official “Sole Drink” page is one of the clearest primary sources for her views on crystal-salt water. It discusses historical saline drinking cures and gives her method for preparing crystal-salt sole at home.

The Term Sole and Historical Context
Hendel’s page states that written records of salt-water drinking cures extend back to the middle of the sixteenth century.
It names spa centres such as Baden bei Wien, Bad Ems, Bad Kissingen and Wiesbaden in this historical context.
Use of Crystal Salt
Hendel recommends crystal salt from the Himalayan region for sole and describes it through a geological formation narrative of roughly 250 million years.
Her own text states that the salt is sufficiently pure to be consumed without further processing and is free from chemical additives.
Views on Minerals and Trace Elements
Hendel states that the mineral and trace-element composition of crystal salt is present in a ratio similar to that of the human body.
This statement is archived here as Hendel’s own published view with the original source link retained.
Effects She Attributes to Sole
Hendel’s page attributes a range of effects to sole involving metabolism, purification, acid-base balance and general well-being.
This article documents those statements as claims made in her own publication.
